İstanbul Kultur University (İKU) organized the “3rd Prof. Dr. Turhan Esener Labor Law International Congress” on April 19-20. Current issues related to fundamental rights and freedoms in labor law were discussed at the congress which was organized by our faculty in collaboration with the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions (Turk-İş).

The Faculty of Law at İstanbul Kultur University (İKU) organized "Turkey-Europe Friendship in Difficult Times" conference. The conference, which Michael Roth, Germany’s Minister of State for Europe, participated in as speaker, was held on Monday, May 7th at the Şirinevler campus.

The "July 15 Panel" organized by the Faculty of Law at İstanbul Kultur University (İKU) was held at the İKU Şirinevler Campus on July 11, 2018 at 14:00. During the panel, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at İstanbul Kultur University, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk spoke about the July 15 Coup Attempt and the aftermath by reading sections from his article published in Germany. Öztürk stated that the trials in the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) case were largely in accordance with the principle of fair hearing.
