In cooperation with the Information and Technology Law Club and the Academic Research Club, a conference titled “8th Judicial Reform Package” was held on Wednesday, April 17th at 14.00 at Fahamettin Akıngüç Auditorium on the 7th floor of Bahçelievler Campus. Our Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk, and our Faculty of Law academicians Assoc. Prof. Cemil Simil, Assist. Prof. Özge Sırma Gezer and Assist. Prof. Serkan Seyhan attended the event as speakers.
Assoc. Prof. Cemil Simil, from the Department of Civil Procedure and Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, took the floor after the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk and made explanations on what changes were made on the basis of the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law and the Code of Civil Procedure, and which articles were regulated. Assist. Prof. Serkan Seyhan, from the Department of Administrative Law, informed the participants about the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Assist. Prof. Özge Sırma Gezer, from the Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedure, talked about the changes in the 8th Judicial Reform Package. Our Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk evaluated his ideas and criticisms in the context of Criminal Procedure Law.
