The "July 15 Panel" organized by the Faculty of Law at İstanbul Kultur University (İKU) was held at the İKU Şirinevler Campus on July 11, 2018 at 14:00. During the panel, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at İstanbul Kultur University, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk spoke about the July 15 Coup Attempt and the aftermath by reading sections from his article published in Germany. Öztürk stated that the trials in the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) case were largely in accordance with the principle of fair hearing.

Speaking at the panel, Asst. Prof. Ceren YILDIZ provided information about the state of emergency practices that emerged as a consequence of the coup after she condemned the July 15 coup attempt. Yıldız also made informative evaluations about the "Presidential System" which took effect on July 9.
